Better Basketball League:
print

Scope of Project

For Better Basketball League NYC, I designed a cohesive set of three posters — each delivered in two versions (with and without borders). The goal was to clearly communicate key details about the youth basketball program in a bold, engaging way.

Each poster had a distinct focus:
• Poster 1 – highlighted the pricing and a brief program overview, meant to be used as a standalone flyer for handouts.
• Poster 2 – listed the three age categories (8–9, 10–11, 12–14) with session times.
• Poster 3 – showcased the calendar with specific program dates.

I drew inspiration from grunge textures and playful 90’s shapes, using a vibrant palette of cyan, black, orange, and red-orange inspired by the team jerseys to catch the eye and tie the designs together. Placed side by side, the posters work as a unified visual series, while Poster 1 could stand alone as a flyer for broader outreach.

How do I start working on a project?

Every project starts with curiosity, so I want to see what you see. We’ll talk through your ideas, what inspires you, and how you want your brand to make people feel. From there, I gather visual references, sketch out possibilities, and build a design direction that feels unmistakably yours.

Design isn’t just about making something look good. It’s about solving problems visually. Whether we’re creating a logo, a brand identity, or a campaign, I make sure every color, shape, and type choice has a purpose.

As we move forward, you’ll see drafts and progress, not just the final result. Your input shapes the work, and  my job is to translate your vision into visuals that speak for you when you’re not in the room.

My Working Proccess

We’ll explore your story, your audience, and the feeling you want to leave behind.

Moodboards, sketches, color palettes — I build a toolkit that sets the tone for your project.

I design, refine, and polish until you have visuals you’re proud to share — and that your audience won’t forget.
